Charlene’s passions are rooted in the success of underrepresented and marginalized communities both at the student and professional level. Charlene has developed, facilitated, and executed training for professional staff development along with organizational and institutional initiatives. All trainings are rooted in anti-racist and culturally competent best practices and principles. Her goal and focus are to provide spaces for healthy dialogue and clear concise strategy through comprehensive frameworks, which help aid in the implementation of organizational, institutional, and structural change. Charlene notes that her passions stem from her lived experience as a Black woman.
Pedro is currently a student-athlete pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in English as a Second Language (ESL) Education. Pedro aspires to "assist in providing spaces for underrepresented community members to pursue their dreams in whatever capacity they see best fitting." Pedro notes that his passions stem from his lived experiences as a LatinX male.
